Constitutions & Agreements
A frequent outcome of our acting in business succession planning and family meetings are that we are asked to document the rules which the family sets for itself both as owners of a business and as a family.
These agreements are most frequently recorded in what are called family constitutions or in a formal business investor/owner agreement. These cover both business and non-business issues.
In particular, these documents provide rules for succession in ownership and management of the family business.
